The 27th of October marked the beginning of a 5-day Training of Trainers (TOT) programme at MAS Athena, Thulhiriya for Mediation Program Officers and Development Officers under the School Mediation Programme.
The session was delivered to the officers so they can in turn train teachers and students on mediation in schools across 03 SEDR-targeted provinces (Northern, Eastern and Uva) and the Western province.
The initial day of the programme was graced by Ms Krishanthi Meegahapola, the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Ms A.S.P. Weerasooriya, the Secretary of the Mediation Boards Commission.
